Collect your rental car this morning from downtown San Francisco, and head over the Golden Gate Bridge and past the artist's village of Sausalito, en-route to a relaxing three night stay in the heart of California's Wine Country.

Napa/Sonoma Valleys

You now have two full days at leisure to explore the vineyards, villages and attractions of the California Wine Country. We suggest spending one full day in the Napa Valley and one full day in Sonoma, to appreciate the differing charms of each and to fully savour their world-class wines and fantastic restaurants. You'll find most estates welcome visitors for wine tasting sessions, and many will allow you to enjoy a picnic in the grounds. Don't miss the Copia Centre in Napa, where you can learn more about California's culinary heritage.
