Journey via Oak Creek Canyon and Ponderosa pine forests towards one of the world's most awesome sights, the Grand Canyon. (B)

Grand Canyon - Monument Valley - Kayenta

Spend this morning exploring on your own or perhaps enjoy an optional flightseeing tour over the canyon. This afternoon journey to Utah and the famous landscape of Monument Valley. (BD)

Kayenta - Mesa Verde - Durango

Today, visit unique Mesa Verde National Park, one of the best-preserved ancient Indian cliff dwellings in the Southwest, en-route to Durango which will be your base for the next two nights. Tomorrow, enjoy a trip to the historic mining town of Silverton with its narrow gauge railroad and quaint art shops. (B)

Journey south to central New Mexico and North America’s oldest capital city, Santa Fe. Enjoy a two-night stay and tomorrow, make the most of a full day at leisure to explore. (BD)

Travel via Pecos National Historic Park, the site where the Pueblo Indians first encountered the Spanish explorers, on your way to Albuquerque. (B)

Albuquerque - Flagstaff

Depart Albuquerque this morning and journey back to Arizona via the large and colourful Petrified Forest National Park. Stay tonight in the famed Route 66 town of Flagstaff. (BD)

Depart Flagstaff after breakfast and journey back to Phoenix. A complimentary transfer is included back to either Phoenix Airport or Trafalgar's chosen downtown hotel for those wishing to extend their stay. (B)
