After a beautiful 80km drive through magnificent mountainous scenery, you reach the spectacular glacier, which covers more than four square kilometres of the waters of Lake Argentino. Among the 356 glaciers within the park, the Perito Moreno is the most outstanding, having a 2km long front and a height of over 60m above water level. Tierra del Fuego & Beagle Channel
This morning, enjoy a half-day visit to Lapataia in the stark, yet beautiful, Tierra del Fuego National Park. In the afternoon, take a two-and-a-half-hour catamaran cruise on the Beagle Channel, which will give you a glimpse of the rugged coastline, cliffs and snow-capped mountains, and a hint of the white wastes of the Antarctic that lie farther south.
